Bertrand oversees global operations, strategy, and execution at atbtherapeutics. He has driven the company from early concept to a robust biotechnology platform, overseeing fundraising, product and process development, and playing a key role in the evolution of the company’s governance and advisor network. He is also one of the experts contributing to the development and industrialisation of the atbiofarm technology.

Bertrand previously worked as a SpinOff Project Manager and postdoctoral researcher at the University of Louvain.

He holds a PhD in Bioengineering and an MSc in Management from the Louvain School of Management, Belgium.

Max is co-founder and Chief Business Officer of ATB Therapeutics.

He oversees strategy execution and technology development, playing a central role in building the company’s intellectual property portfolio and advancing its proprietary “atbody” platform. He has contributed to taking ATB Therapeutics from a theoretical concept to a wellfunded biotech.

Before launching ATB Therapeutics, Max worked as a freelance business developer in the biotech sector, advising companies on strategy, partnerships, and technology valorization, including work with Masthercell, later acquired by Catalent. This dual exposure to science and business has shaped his entrepreneurial approach, focused on translating cuttingedge research into promising therapeutics.

Max Houry holds an MSc in Molecular Biology as well as a combined Master’s degree in Management and SME Creation from UCLouvain (Université Catholique de Louvain), reflecting his interdisciplinary background at the intersection of life sciences and entrepreneurship.

Jean-Baptiste joined ATB in 2025 as CFO where he supervises strategy and fundraising activities.

Jean-Baptiste is also a managing partner at Namsen Capital, a corporate finance boutique he created back in 2015. As part of Namsen Capital, Jean-Baptiste led the Nasdaq IPOs of a number of companies including Abivax, Inventiva, Valneva. On top of Nasdaq IPOS, he led more than 30 follow-on offerings including landmark transactions such as a EUR 350m PIPE for Inventiva, a EUR 50m PIPE for Sensorion.

Jean-Baptiste was part of other strategic advisory roles at Amolyt Pharma (acquired by AstraZeneca), Egle Therapeutics, Enterome, Novolyze and other private companies.

Prior to Namsen Capital, Jean-Baptiste worked in Equity Capital Markets at Bryan Garnier & Co, Euronext, BNP Paribas and Société Générale.

Torsten Dreier serves as Chief Development Officer at atbtherapeutics, bringing over 25 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry with a deep focus on antibody and antibody-based drug development. Throughout his career, he has successfully advanced ten antibody programs from preclinical research into clinical development, including two Blincyto® and Cablivi® that achieved marketing authorization. He also played a key role in the development of Vyvgart® (efgartigimod alfa), a first-in-class FcRn blocker approved for the treatment of generalized myasthenia gravis.

Before joining atbtherapeutics, Torsten was CDO at Agomab Therapeutics, and previously co-founded argenx, where he led multiple facets of drug development. Earlier in his career, he held key leadership roles at Ablynx (2003-2008), overseeing pharmacology, toxicology, bioanalytics, CMC, and early clinical development, and at Micromet (1997-2003), which today is part of Amgen.

Torsten holds a PhD in Biochemistry from the University of Tübingen, Germany. His scientific expertise, combined with a proven track record of translating innovation into clinical success, makes him a vital contributor to atb’s mission of delivering next-generation therapeutics.
